You know that feeling — one thought tumbles, then everything else follows. You’re spiraling. But what if that spiral doesn’t have to win? What if you pause it, see it, and anchor your heart in what’s true? That’s what we’re walking through today.

Spirals always start somewhere — a stray thought, a worry, a memory.

  • Pause: the moment you feel tension rising, stop.
  • Ask: “What thought triggered this?”
  • Jot it down. You’re creating awareness power.

Turn the storm into a script you can read and rewrite.

  • “Future fear spiral”
  • “I’m unlovable spiral”
  • “Failure forecast spiral”
Giving it a name separates you from it.

When you spot the spiral, apply your slasher breathing technique.

  • Jason’s “Camp Crystal Clear Breath”
  • Ghostface’s “Mask & Ask Mindfulness”
  • Michael’s “Silent Stalker Sigh”
(Use whatever fits your mood in the moment.)
Pair it with a truth declaration — scriptural, affirmational — whatever closes the gap between panic and peace.

Get out of your head and into your body:

  • Use 5‑4‑3‑2‑1 grounding (name 5 things you see, 4 you feel, etc.)
  • Gentle stretching or walking
  • Drink water, press your feet into the floor

Now you’ve paused, named it, calmed the storm — confirm a new direction.

  • Choose scripture or affirmations (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 10:5, etc.)
  • Speak them aloud when you feel the old spiral trying to return

Your mind can be a place of peace again.
Each time you stop the spiral, you name it. You breathe through it and ground your body. You declare truth. You’re rewriting your inner story.
You fall again, but now you know how to rise faster.
